1) Decrease mineral requirements for ships, implants, etc by 25X.

2) Decrease mineral requirements to build Player Owned Stations by 100X, reduce hitpoints of POS by 100X.

3) Remove gates, allow players to warp.

4) New POS: warp interruptor (long distance, some models forcing players to fly at impulse speeds for 10 minutes just to reach warp interruptor giving defenders a chance to organize).

5) New POS: radar.

6) Increase font size.

Seems like someone isn't getting his/her instant gratification.

We all know that all SWG needed to draw in MILLIONS AND MILLIONS! of players from WoW was instant Jedi.

Uh huh.

When there is nothing new to work for in a MMO, that MMO dies to that player.

SWTOR: Helm of Graush. Flurry United <FU>
Wildcat, Jedi Sage (50)
Wildkat, Jedi Shadow (50)

Past games: SWG, EVE, STO, LOTRO, DDO, EQ2

How long does it take for a player to build up their base in slow speed in Starcraft 2? 15 minutes? Is that "instant gratification"?

PVP in RTS is more rewarding, and more vigorous, because it doesn't take FOREEEVER to do anything.

PVP in Eve Online is anemic, almost everyone avoids it, because it takes FOREVERRRR.

It's not a matter of "instant gratification", it's a matter of timing it right; and Eve Online is definitely not timed right.

That reminds me of an old SCTV sketch - 'Mohicans Galore!" You don't make something more special by making it more common. Just the opposite.

Agent Smith was the coolest character in The Matrix. The sequels made him a joke.

SWTOR should have been set in the movie era and Jedi/Sith NPCs only.

Well, you guys in Eve Online ought to learn how to enjoy flying around in circles for hours on end. You spent years grinding to get your uber ship and discovered that those who didn't spend years grinding for their uber ship are not playing target practice for you.

That is the ubiquitous "end game".
