Was there even a poll on having jedi in the game or a non-Jedi server?

SWGEmu will have Jedi just as the real game did right before the CU dropped, because they are making a faithful emulation of the game as it was at that point in time. I can respect this stance, but I will not play on their server because of it. I am also glad that both they, and the ANH team, are making the game very scriptable and customizable so that those who do not want Jedi (or any other feature) can be rid of them.

Exactly Shayde! The hologrinding was bad enough yes, but it was done in the pursuit of an overpowered, largely self-suffient class that also allowed players another character slot. Even I went after the Jedi class due to the extra slot alone.

No, because, as I said, they are making a recreation of the game as it stood during the patch immediately before the Combat Upgrade patch. They patch the client to that point and no further. There are tons of bugs fixes that go along with having the shitty horrible Village.

Also, they will allow the individual communities hosting the servers decide whether or not there will be Jedi.
