Snippet -

One of the biggest complaints about the Nintendo Switch during launch was that you couldn’t transfer your saved data. This caused some gamers to seizure and flip out on social media and message boards, claiming that Nintendo was doomed because you couldn’t transfer your saved games and that if you mistakenly dropped your Switch on the marble floor during a bout of explosive diarrhea while you’re playing with it on the toilet and the console breaks, you’re basically screwed.

Well, Nintendo understands how dangerous it is to potentially break your Switch during an explosive bit of diarrhea, and how important it is to be able to transfer your games in case you break your console while you’re battling to get the chocolate subway through a tunnel it just doesn’t want to fit through.

Nintendo Insider is reporting that the latest update went out yesterday for Nintendo Switch owners. Once you download the update it will reboot your system and then you can enjoy all the benefits that 4.0.0 has to offer.

The most important feature enables you to transfer your saved data from one Switch to another, so if you’re one of those people who fall into the category of the description in the very first paragraph… well, Nintendo has your back, fam.
