My take on the movie ****SPOILERS****

I saw this movie Monday morning. The visuals were stunning. The first third of the movie kind of dragged out. You had to suspend your belief in the physics of space. There was no hiding the SJW influence in the movie because of useless subplots that involved what I feel was more statements about diversity (obviously shoehorned), white men suck, corruption, oppression, the privileged 1%, and animal abuse.

This current Star Wars trilogy seems to be just a disappointing reboot of the original trilogy with massive holes.

I am suppose to believe that Leia gets sucked out her ship into space and somehow her up-to-now untapped use of the force protects her from insta-death and allows her to propel herself back to an air-lock on the ship?!? Some how the bombs are dropped on the Dreadnought ship by use of gravity in space?!? Bombardiers can breathe in space? The resistance ships are 'faster' than the First order fleet, yet they just maintain enough distance from being bombed instead of widening their distance?!?

Rey finds Luke and most of the time Luke just grumbles and ignores her instead of providing the training she seriously needs as an entry level Jedi apprentice. His pity party about what happened to Kylo Ren got old quickly and his desire to see the end of the Jedi 'religion'. In the original trilogy, Jedi training took time, dedication and effort. It took three movies for Luke to hone his skills. Luke's role as could have been so much more as a Jedi Master working with his new apprentice, going right into the next movie.

Towards the end, instead of Luke using his ship (which could be seen hidden in the sea), honing in on Lei and arriving to finally confront Kylo, he uses Astral Projection from his planet (Acto?). All that taxing use of the force causes Luke to keel over afterwards and disappears to join the force in death anyway. So all the heroes of the original trilogy are now gone and their history means nothing going forward.

So Snoke was introduced in Star Wars VII, and the questions of where he came from, how he got his hooks into Kylo and his future plans are never answered. Instead he was taken out by the Kylo who was unable to defeat Rey who never held a light saber in her life in the last movie. Now he is suppose to be seen as the new 'Darth Vader'?!? Really? A Soy Boy prone to temper tantrums? I also still want to know how the First Order raised the resources and manpower after the Imperials were crushed in Star Wars VI. How did the once victorious rebels end up being rebels again?

Rey's parentage seemed to be an important question in the last movie, but now Disney decided her parents were junker nobodies that sold her off for gambling money and are now dead and buried on her home planet. What a way to kill future plot potential. I have to wonder if this was some sort of SJW message I am not understanding or Disney really wants to sever all possible ties the the original series.

So Finn and Rose (POCs) go on a useless mission that accomplished nothing other than make social justice statements on the casino planet. They are betrayed by a corrupt First Order sympathizer that actually will sell out to either side if the price is right. This useless subplot did little more than introduce another character to the diverse Disney cast and make this the longest running Star Wars film in my opinion. Also, I think it would have been more effective if Finn was not prevented from doing his Kamikaze effort to take out the energy-beam battering ram that somehow was melting his skiff but not effecting him.

So what is really being accomplished here? We have an obsessed Manchild that will use the endless resources and manpower of the First Order to chase a handful of rebels with no resources that are far from a threat? I cringe at what the next Star Wars installment will bring.

The visuals and combat scenes are definitely entertaining, but for those who are serious Star Wars aficionados that respect the old Star Wars canon, they will be disappointed. This movie could have been so much more. I give it a 3.5 out 5.

Spoilers! In this video we will explore why Star Wars Episode 9 is in trouble, following the twists in the Last Jedi...

"" This trilogy is fucked" couldnt agree more lol."

"Rian Johnson’s face reflects the evil joy of Darth Mickey, and all the bought off “critics,” Mark Hamill’s somber face reflects the sadness of all the true fans. Fuck you Disney. Fuck you Kathleen. Fuck you Rian."

"Warner Brothers: "No one can not make more dumber decisions than us." Disney: "Hold my beer.""

"Boycott Episode 9! After this shit Disney wont get any money of me anymore. They treated Star wars like shit. Anyone who defends TLJ is a completely blinded fool"

Star Wars The Last Jedi deleted scenes & rejected concepts explained, including Rey training scenes, Snoke, Finn, BB-8, BB-9E, Poe Dameron, Rose Tico, Porgs, Leia & lots more!

"Pretty much any of the scenes with Luke and Rey would have been very welcomed additions, particularly the bit with Vader and Obiwan."

"I thought the entire mirror scene was pointless. A scene where Rey sees a vision of Obi Wan and Darth Vader would've been soooo much better."

"Anything more of Rey and Luke would have been welcome. Much preferred that storyline to Finn/Rose/Poe"

"the deleted scenes sound better than most of the movie tbh"

Star Wars: The Last Jedi - 10 Major Blunders Fans Can't Ignore

"Rose's random apparent romance with Finn is trash. Complete trash. Rose was disappointingly misused."

"I agree, both the last Jedi and the force awakens, are both bad movies. Entertaining but bad. They are shameless money grabs from Disney. They feel forced, the humor is forced, the new characters try to hard to be likable, potentially amazing characters and character arcs are completely ignored. Honestly these new movies just look cool, but if you think for 2 seconds about the story you realize they are probably even worse than the prequels."

"I feel that when Luke throws the Skywalker light saber, it was a perfect representation of the new director throwing away everything JJ Abrams set up."

"You forgot about how Snoke and Rey’s stories felt like they were going to have a much bigger part and then nothing is done with either."

"Here it is: the worst film in Star Wars history. Yes, worse than the Holiday Special. Because the Holiday Special didn't destroy Luke and made Leia a laughingstock."

"EVERY SINGLE THING you said in this video is PRECISELY what my girlfriend and I said to each other about how much we hated this travesty of a movie. I love you. Also, this is by far your funniest video yet."

"i haven´t been so disgusted by a star wars movie since episode 2, great video as always"

"Hahahah, brilliant & so true. The Force Awakens was wank, but The Last Jedi is not only dire, but it made TFA even worse with it's "answers", and shat all over the Original Trilogy even more than TFA did. Well done Disney for taking film rape to a new level."

"Bwahahahaha this is the only Last Jedi review that I find hilarious and entertaining. It did well in removing the very bad aftertaste of the last Jedi. I'm still laughing now"

Ben Shapiro gives his detailed review of the latest Star Wars movie.

"I'm really surprised Ben didn't harp on the part where Snoke, the guy who created the link between Kylo and Rey, was killed because he somehow didn't sense Kylo was using the force to set up a cheap lightsaber attack. That was so ridiculous, a guy who could literally jump in Kylo's mind and completely manipulate it, without him knowing, couldn't sense that lame attack and is killed. On top of that, he is completely wrong about Kylo's transition from conflicted to resolved in the dark side, and he acts as though he has the most loyal puppet ever...honestly WTF?"

"Completely agree with everything you said about the new films but i didn't mind the prequals. Han solo had to die but i think Luke should have been there to see his student kill someone who all the fans and characters have a connection to (even kylo). They just tried to lead the whole story into a boring remake with no real unexpected plot twists."

"One of the few times I agree with just about everything Ben Shapiro says"

"I really hate Rose. I really do. I hope they just kill her off or just stay in the background in the next movie."

The rant is strong with this one.

"I hope Lucas buys the franchise back for cents on the dollar."

"The Jedi must end...except for Rey because she's super special!"

"When the Force Awakens debuted in theatres, I regretted paying money to see it. When Rogue One debuted in theatres, I didn't even bother to see it."

"The Mickey Marxist Mousefuckers working for Disney, and their harpy hatchet-woman Kennedy, are intentionally killing off the old beloved Star Wars and replacing it with their own warped Social Justice Wars. The new Star Wars series is like an ex-wife who got to keep the house and the dog (Chewie) in the divorce, after throwing all your shit out into the rain without telling you. In a galaxy far far away, the Neo-Mickey Marxist Empire nears it's final conquest of the patriarchy's merchandi$ing scheme."

Thanks, Disney, for murdering Star Wars.

""I fundamentally disagree with practically everything you've decided about my character." -Mark Hamill"

"I'll watch JJ's episode IX, but there's no way I'm paying to see an entire trilogy written and directed by Rian Fucking Johnson. This movie was painful to sit through. I knew within the first five minutes, when Poe was making a "your mom" joke that this was going to be a huge disappointment."

"It really felt like a Star Wars film made by people who hadn't ever seen a Star Wars film."

"I was in tears when I saw this review. Finally someone who viscerally acknowledges my disgust and disdain for this film. I grew up Star Wars and this is not Star Wars. Even though the prequels were crap, this movie hit rock bottom. The prequels at least had a storyline. They had answers that were cleared up. I love the points in his video about all the training and the two Jedi Masters that Luke served under 2 get his skills and Rey beats him in a stick fight. Yet snoke easily smacked her in the head with her lightsaber and put it on his mantle. No consistency in force strength. I won't be watching The Next Star Wars."

This s a pretty awesome review that I agree with.

Rey IS a Mary Sue, BUT THATS NOT THE PROBLEM - Star Wars The Last Jedi Rant

LAST JEDI SPOILERS! Is Rey A Mary Sue? Yes Rey IS a Mary Sue. But thats not the problem. The problem is, the HEROES JOURNEY has been broken in Star Wars Episode VIII. Rey vs Kylo Ren discussion too. Let's discuss

"She's boring it's like starting at level 99 in a rpg. She has the most boring backstory if they leave it as is. There is nothing to her as a character."

"I couldn't agree more. This movie really made me dislike Rey as a character and I'm not even one bit interested in seeing how she will further develop in Episode 9. Why? Because it doesn't feel like she earned even one bit of her power. She can use Force - just like that. She can fly a ship - just like that. She knows as much about the Millenium Falcon as Han - just like that. We never see her struggle. We never see her overcoming her own weaknesses. We never feel her grow. And her encounter with Luke? As you said, she really doesn't train at all. In fact, later on it seems like SHE is the one giving Luke Skywalker lessons. We also don't know anything about her motivations. Why has she joined the rebel alliance? Why does she want to become a Jedi? What are her motivations? What are her weaknesses? Compare that to Luke and Anakin: Luke wanted to become a Jedi because he wanted to be like his father and because the Empire killed the only parental figures he had. Anakin wanted to become a Jedi because he grew up as a slave and has experienced disparity first hand. Rey? After 2/3 of her trilogy I don't even know why the f*ck she's here and why she does anything she does. People pick on Rose and call her an unimportant character, but I literally know more about Rose's backstory, her motivations and her character than I know about Rey.

Another giant problem is how this movie completely broke the gap between Force affinity and Force usage. The OT, PT and The Clone Wars series established that many people have an affinity to the Force. Hence, why the Jedi gathered them up as infanty if they sensed potential. It has also been established that training is required in order to use the Force. Anakin had a great affinity to the Force. But he couldn't use it before training. Same with Luke. Remember how he struggled in Episode 5 to even lift a rock and pull his Light Saber towards him? Well, Broom Boy at the end had no problem. So were all the other Jedi just morons? What Episode 7/8 seemingly are trying to tell us is that Force affinity correlates directly with how good you can use the Force. The fact, that the gap between those two principles has been wiped out left us with a very inconsistent picture, which really bothers me about this movie."

"Rey started as a Mary Sue. now she is a Super Nova Mary Sue."

"This movie makes me not want to watch episode 9. I almost feel we are going to get a 10, 11, and 12 as well because I just feel there is so much crap that has to tied up or fixed in order to be decent. I might just give up on Star Wars altogether. People might not like TFA, but at least it kept the lore in mind and didn't disregard everything just for the sake of being different. If I do watch 9, I'm going to get it pirated or something because I don't want to give Disney money for the shit they are creating and a universe they are destroying. Kylo Ren is the only reason I would want to see 9, but I definitely won't see it in a theater unless it is a revolutionary film."

Star Wars the Las Jedi felt less like part 2 of a trilogy and more like a marvel stand alone film. Here's our breakdown of some missed opportunities.

"It's harsh, but this film pushes the idea "out with the old star wars generation, in with the new". Such beloved characters that us older generations grew up with and loved were treated very badly in this film, in lieu of a younger cast they are trying to promote that honestly I feel little connection with. It seems Disney want to make a clean break from the older generation who won't "let go of the past" and sees the future of the franchise with the younger audience (millennials, etc). I fear it was simply a business/financial decision."

"I was blinded by the action scenes in the movie in theaters. Now I see how disappointing the film was."

"Imagine if Legends was Canon: Episode 7-9 would be Thrawn Trilogy with Admiral Thrawn, Mara Jade, Jaina Solo, Jacen Solo, Kyle Katarn. There would be a powerful Military New Republic, there would be a New Jedi Order with millions of New Jedi. "

"In the legends series, Luke had started a whole new Jedi order, was a complete badass and even married Mara Jade. But here, dude just gave up and went into hiding. I’m really trying to understand why Disney even got rid of the legends series"

"politics poisoned this trilogy to be specific the leftist politics."
